A wireless network bridge is like a digital bridge that connects different parts of a computer network that are separated.
Imagine you have two islands (networks) that need to talk to each other, but there's water (distance or obstacles) in between. A bridge allows them to communicate by linking them together wirelessly, without needing physical cables.
This can be handy in situations where it's hard to lay cables, like between different floors of a building or across a street.

The pictured connection was installed to provide a redundant internet connection via a second office, Warp Speed Computers completed the full installation including hardware and labour.
Once installed, it provided 1Gbps networking spanning 880 meters across a populated valley. The wireless bridging hardware includes two wireless connections, one high-speed and one lower-speed backup in case weather conditions impede performance, providing excellent reliability.
